Welcome to Organic Bunny!
We'd all like to live healthy, happy, fulfilling
lives. But does it have to be so hard? No! (At
least, that's what we think!) You can be healthy,
earth friendly, AND have fun all at the same time.
At OrganicBunny.com, we give you healthy/organic
info in a fun, light-hearted way. Our philosophy is:
if you're armed with a little knowledge, you can make
better choices. So we provide you with unbiased ratings
of Organic Products, fueled by consumer feedback. We're
not paid by anybody - we test it, do a little
research, and tell you what we find out. You can
read the results, and then you decide what's best
for you.
Does Organic always mean better? Maybe, maybe
not - it depends on the product, and what's
important to you. We show you our
rating charts when we rate products, so you can
see where the products score highest, and where
they are weak. We also always test organic and
healthy products against other, non-organic
products on the market - to level the playing
field!

What does ORGANIC mean, anyway?
Basically, when you hear that something is "organic" or "grown
organically," it means that the farms and processes that were used to create
the product generate less pollution than "conventionally prepared" products.
So it's about how the food, or detergent, or whatever, is prepared. It all
happens before it gets to the store.
Organic products are often advertised as better-tasting or healthier for
you. While that may be true, it's under debate. Purchasing organic
products is more about looking out for the environment as a whole.
According to the
National Organic Standards Board, organic farming
is based on "management practices that restore,
maintain, and enhance ecological harmony."
Organic farmers don't use toxic pesticides or
fertilizers, and organic foods generally do not
contain artificial ingredients or preservatives.
"When you see something that is "certified organic,"
that means that the product has met the standards of
the U.S. Department of Agriculture for organic labeling."
